This integrated project to be designed and implemented by TREK, constitutes a flagship intervention for the Municipality, aiming at the aesthetic, functional, and technological upgrade of the main pedestrian streets in the city center and of the main road Dimokratias Avenue. The ultimate goal of the proposed action is to significantly improve the pedestrian network and enhance the accessibility of the central area, with the aim of revitalizing the Municipality of Aspropyrgos and establishing it as a supra-local point of attraction.
The central area hosts activities and land uses related to commerce, services, public squares, education, culture and history, and administration. The multi-level design of the intervention is expected to have a multiplier effect, yielding significant benefits both for the quality of the urban space and for the economy of the Municipality and the wider region.
The specific tasks of the project implementation are:
ACTION A: Smart lighting – Remote control and management system, and preventive maintenance system for lighting fixtures
ACTION B: Seven (07) smart rest stations (Smart Benches)
ACTION C: Two (02) smart information kiosks (Info Kiosks)
ACTION D: Four (04) digital signage displays (Digital Signage)
ACTION E: Fifteen (15) wireless internet access points (WiFi Access Points)
ACTION F: Integrated smart parking system with one hundred (100) occupancy detection sensors
Project is at 507.623 EUR with time span of 5 months.
