Strong growth will continue this year as well, both organically and through acquisitions, TREK Development Chairman and CEO Konstantinos Papapolyzos told BN, on the occasion of the recent publication of the company’s financial results for the 2025 fiscal year.
Pre-tax profits increased by 117.6%, reaching €1.64 million.
With the company’s valuation standing at €24 million, the question is whether this growth can continue so that valuation metrics improve.
Mr. Papapolyzos was categorical in his statements to BN that it will continue.
At least two acquisitions will be carried out in sectors related to TREK’s activities, while organic growth is also underway and is expected to drive profits to approximately €2 million.
At this time, the company is in discussions with four companies.
It is recalled that the company has liquidity of €4.3 million.
The stock began trading in January with a starting price of €1.40, but quickly moved above €3.
Indeed, the daily trading volume is considered satisfactory to quite strong for the standards of the EN.A. market, and even compared with some small- and mid-cap companies listed on the Main Market.
Strong shareholders and the target of the Main Market
Mr. Papapolyzos attributes the strong performance of the stock to the company’s solid shareholder base, which supports both the share and the company’s overall effort.
Among the shareholders are Optima Bank, Alpha Trust, 3K, Michalis Sallas and Theodoros Fessas.
The company’s objective is to grow further so that within 2–3 years it can transition to the Main Market.
By that time, the company’s valuation will need to double, and this effort could also be supported by the acquisition of companies through a combination of cash and shares.
The scope of activity
The company specializes in construction and is fully vertically integrated in projects related to energy efficiency and smart water management.
It undertakes large-scale projects for the public sector and the wider public sector, and sees significant growth potential in desalination projects for drinking water supply and irrigation.
According to the results announcement, 2025 laid the foundations and the first results began to emerge in the development of Critical Construction Projects and other Public Interest Infrastructure, focusing on vertically integrated markets such as Energy Efficiency and the Upgrade of Public Building Infrastructure, Digital Transformation, and Smart Water systems.
These initiatives focus primarily on water supply through smart water meters, as well as on water recycling and reuse (desalination).
At the same time, the company further strengthened its traditional field of activity, namely Advisory Services. However, the company is transitioning from a Consulting firm to a Project Development Services provider, with further vertical integration in Energy and Critical Infrastructure.
It provides end-to-end Project Management and Project Finance, as well as Construction Management services for the maturation and development of large infrastructure projects.
