TREK awarded by the Ministry of Defense the Energy Policy and Strategy formulation, followed by a set of action planning in the form of “quick wins” energy projects. In this framework, TREK has been appointed to assess and prioritize all energy related issues of the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Airforce) and to formulate a sustainable cost-benefit plan for their respective energy needs. Renewables, Energy efficiency, cross-collaboration and new technologies in the energy field will be addressed and applied. TREK is acting as a Master Advisor to this initiative
The Armed Forces along with its supporting facilities, is a major consumer of Energy, at any form, across any country in the planet.
The Hellenic Ministry of Defense, is a pioneer in energy efficiency measures due to its initiatives for energy savings, especially in the building sector.
However, a rigid, systematic and global approach is needed in order to facilitate the huge depository of assets and the vast need for energy in order to mobilize ground, air and sea operations.
TREK is acting as the Master Advisor for this Policy and Strategic facilitation of this initiative, whilst is set to propose and support a series of specific projects, in the form of quick-win role models.
