TREK to design and apply framework for the deployment of Electric Vehicles in the Municipality of Zagori, Epirus Region, in conjunction with National and EU legislation. Zagori, with astonishing heritage and natural beauty, with its geographical coverage among the largest in Greece, seeks to preserve its environmental status and create even better conditions for a greener future. TREK has been appointed by the Municipal Authority to formulate the Master Plan for the adoption of electric vehicles framework in Zagori, along with the required infrastructure, namely charging stations, recycling, parking lots and procurement of new electric municipal vehicles.
Project deliverables are:
Feasibility and best practices in the engagement of electro-mobility in the region, assessment of existing municipal fleet and replacement mechanism with e-vehicles, as well as recycling of old infrastructure.
Design of new -for free- parking lots for the e-vehicles, either for visitors, or residents. Positioning of charging stations, in or around Public and other sites of interest.
Financial modelling and different fin tools for the deployment of the proposed infrastructures. Budgeting and breakdown of tasks and deliverables (action plan)
Support to the Municiplaity for the Financing of the aforementioned actions and technical assistance to the Procurement plan, by means of tendering, evaluation and contracting with potential developers.
