TREK Consulting awarded the Communication Strategy and action planning for the ARCHIMED Programme, under the INTERREG III Community Initiative. The 756.000 euro project includes the identification of the target audiences and stakeholders in general, the formulation of the communication objectives, the description and selection of communication channels, the formulation of the media mix, and - last but not least - the definition of the required action plan (describing for each action its objective, content, budget, time-schedule, effectiveness and success criteria). Project durations is 6 months.
The transnational programme Interreg IIIB ARCHIMED aims to contribute to the territorial integration of the south-eastern Mediterranean area and to accompany (on a Mediterranean basin level) the procedure of Barcelona, through actions that will eventually lead to the establishment of a Euro-Mediterranean Zone of Free Trade. With a total budget of 80 M# approximately, the specific strategic goals of the programme are the following: 1) Spatial planning, aiming at a polycentric and sustainable development; 2) Access improvement to the European networks related to transport, energy and information; and 3) Improvement, conservation and promotion of the natural and cultural environment.
