TREK has awarder Technical assistance to the Regional Authority of Central Macedonia, Greece for the development and monitoring of Labor and post-Immigration related policy and action planning. The project, namely IMMENSITY focuses on the social and economic inclusion of legal economic immigrants and repatriatesin destination countries, with specific focus on women population. TREK provided Strategic, scientific and technical advisory services as well as administrative co-ordination. This program is under the funding umbrella of INTERREG IIIB- CADSES.
The 1.850.000 euro social and immigration policy project has itsmai goal to stimulate the immigants' entrepreneurship and self-employment potential while in parallel try to improve the living standards in the country of origin by promoting and supporting bilateral Trade. the overall objective of the project is to develop Regional Strategic Operational Plan and pilot structures (Immigrant Entrepreneurs' Reception Offices) so as to boost the target groups' self-employment in growing economic sectors by supporting bilatral trade , thus ensuring their socio-economic inclusion in destination countries. After all the project's long term objective is the return of economic immigrants to countries of origin. TREK technical assistance is at the order of 150.000 euro, served to the Regional Authority of Central Macedonia (leader) with partners from Greece,Italy, Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Albania.
