The 1,1 million euro project foresees the development of employment policy tools at National level and Strategic formulation of specific action plan for the reduction of unemployment rate. It is estimated that Bosnia has an average 30% unemployment rate, with 25% of the population below the poverty line. Project goal is to reduce at substantial volume those indices.
TREK service provision aims at supporting the development of a coherent employment Strategy, in line with EU approaches and set up instruments for its sustainable implementation. Within this framework TREK develops a draft agenda on the Labor Law, Policy guidelines, the Action Plan for the National Employment strategy and a number of tools for the realization of the actions plan. Among those tools is the design and deployment of the National Labor Information system for the effective collection of labor data, management procedures, statistical tools, as well as the IT assisted launch of initiatives and programs in regional and sectoral employment workfoce.
