TREK to implement Social Policy measures for the Greek Exporters Association (SEVE), based in Thessaloniki GR. The project named “SKILLS BALANCING” deals with the issue of balancing between professional skill supply and demand which cannot be adequately addressed neither by individual countries nor by ordinary cross-border projects. The project targets to students, alumni, parents, and employees in general, as these groups find it difficult not only to establish in labour market, but even to find a job as a result of economic instability.
The project will empower the relationship between education and labour market, by identifying the creation of new skills and/or by upgrading the existing one, and will formulate the outline of new labour programmes. The identification and determination of skills in professional education and training will be necessary for the labour market in coming years. The project has the ambition to influence/lead so as a significant and long-term change and improvement to take place, to all the eligible areas in Greece and Bulgaria.
TREK Consulting undertakes the following tasks:
• Wp2: Information & Publicity (Dissemination activities & organisation of public conferences)
• Wp4: Procedures for strengthening professional education and training (Creation of “Skill Map” in the cross-border region, Creation of cross-border certification system & Organising workshops)
