Over the course of operations, TREK has mobilized more than 4 billion Euro in direct financing of Infrastructure projects and Project Development initiatives, across Europe and the Middle East. TREK is the first to mobilize EiB funds for Regional Government in Greece and first to apply new financial Instruments, derived directly form International Financial Institutions (IFIs) for the Banking sector in SE Europe. As of 2019 TREK claims the largest active portfolio of Energy Infrastructure projects in Greece, as Principal Advisor, initiator and Project Delivery.
Our target is to seek for the best optimal financial resources to propel our clients' economic growth, to apply the appropriate financial instruments and finally leverage their own assets. There are many forms of financing and financial structures that TREK applies, namely: Direct subsidies, Restructuring of loans and debts, Public Private Partnership (PPP), funding from E.U. Structural Funds directly from European Commission, or from Regional Country Programs and finally a blending of the above tools, a methodology that TREK has unique hands-on experience.
