TREK to execute Smart Energy efficiency program in Palestine, Gaza, for the benefit of major local Municipalities. Project foresees to apply smart grid technology in Public Municipal buildings, whilst a series of other energy behavioral measures are expected to support Palestine’s Energy efficiency National Policy
Palestine and especially Gaza strip teritorry is among the most isolated places on earth. Further, Gaza is almost 100% energy dependent on Israeel, while energy shortages is an every day occurence.
TREK awarded by the International Community Donors an ambitious program to apply smart energy measures to Public Buildings accross the area.
Full deployment of new generation smart meters along with an intelligent cloud-based system which gathers, analyze and predict energy consumption and usage will assist National Palestine Authorities to reduce energy dependence by thirt parties.
Along with this deployment, TREK to perform awareness and dissemination set of actions for the purpose of maximizing behavioral energy sensitivity.
It is expected that a reduction of 18% in energy consumption is to be achieved throughout the intervened buildings.
