TREK DEVELOPMENT has signed a construction contract with the Municipality of Pylaia–Chortiatis for the upgrade of street and public-space lighting across the municipality. Mayor Ignatios Kaitezidis and TREK DEVELOPMENT CEO Konstantinos Papapolyzos signed the agreement, following the successful completion of the public tender. The project carries a budget of €195,000.
“We are bringing even more light to our neighbourhoods. We are launching another important project for our residents, this time focused on street lighting, which improves accessibility and safety in the areas covered and enhances residents’ quality of life. We work every day to improve our citizens’ daily lives, and that ongoing commitment gives us the strength to overcome obstacles and deliver results. I would like to personally thank the staff of our Technical Department and Deputy Mayor Despoina Lypiridou for their dedication,” said Mayor Ignatios Kaitezidis.
The project will upgrade lighting across streets, parks and public squares with LED lighting fixtures. It also covers targeted maintenance of ageing lighting networks and the replacement of damaged poles and luminaires.
The project is scheduled for completion within eight months.
