TREK awarded Framework Contract with the European Investment Bank (EiB) for Consultancy Services in the Environment & Regional Development in SE Europe

TREK, as the Lead consortium Partner,awarded the framework contract for LOT 3 “Urban Development” that includes: Urban planning and development, incl. renewal and regeneration, Conservation and cultural heritage , Social and environmental policy, incl. social housing. Overall project value is 6.000.000 euro, over a period of 4 years, ended by 2020.


The project cycle areas of expertise include: strategic and project identification studies, feasibility and due diligence studies, master plans, project preparation, preliminary design assessment, demand analysis, technical expertise and assessment, environmental assessment, social assessment, climate change assessment, economic cost-benefit analysis, financial cost-benefit analysis, contracting and project agreements (particularly in the context of project financing), procurement and contract management, detailed design assessment, project implementation assistance and support to PIU, project management, operation / business models, project monitoring (progress reporting, completion reporting), and ex-post evaluation.

Individual assignments may concern assistance in the fields of institutional capacity building, support to public bodies or agencies in the relevant sectors and specific one-off targeted studies in any of the Bank’s areas of expertise and countries of operations. Indicative type of work includes: Public-Private-Partnerships & Concessions, Technical advice/audit, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Market analysis (supply/demand balance, needs of new capacity), CBA theory & modelling, Institutional capacity, Sector policy & regulation for a country or group of countries (EU, emerging economies and developing countries) in a certain sub-sector, EU-legislation & Structural Funds (procurement, environment & social, safety), IFIs and international standards (procurement, environment & social, safety), technical norms and standards.
