The National Hellenic Council for Competitiveness and Development (www.esaa.gr), chaired by the Minister of Development, is the highest consultative body of the Greek Government for issues concerning the enhancement of competitiveness.
The National Hellenic Council for Competitiveness and Development (www.esaa.gr), chaired by the Minister of Development, is the highest consultative body of the Greek Government for issues concerning the enhancement of competitiveness. Among the main responsibilities are to define an integrated strategy for competitiveness, to motivate all market forces, to submit proposals for the codification of legislation, as well as to monitor the implementation of reforms and evaluate the effectiveness of measures taken.
TREK Consulting prepared the Communication Strategy of the NCCD, including the identification of the target audiences and stakeholders in general, the formulation of the communication objectives, the description and selection of communication channels, the formulation of the media mix, and - last but not least - the definition of the required action plan (describing for each action its objective, content, budget, time-schedule, effectiveness and success criteria).
The proposed actions are classified in three categories:
. Corporate identity of NCCD (branding - new logo and motto)
. Infrastructures (including CRM mechanism, the Portal for Competitiveness, and technical support to NCCD for the implementation of all actions included in the Communication Plan)
. Communication (including videos, brochures, press releases, radio spots, events, public relations, surveys and researches etc.).
Currently TREK implements the Portal for Competitiveness, which will be available at www.competitive-greece.gr in summer 2008, as well as organizes the Annual Sitting of NCCD that will take place in May 2008 in Athens.
Budget is at the order of 560.000 euro
